| Additional Notes & Comments: |
This issue has been relevant since June 2026 and persists to this day. There are already 3 bug reports submitted regarding this problem. I kindly ask you to look into this seemingly minor issue, as it heavily limits the utility and tactical options of the perk, forcing players to abandon using it altogether.

Steps to Reproduce
- Enter a match as survivor using the perk "Potential Energy"
- Start repairing a generator and activate the perk.
- Wait for a skill check to appear and complete it.
- Completing the skill check has a high probability (though not 100%) of forcing the token accumulation to stop, reverting the action back to standard generator repair with normal progress.
- Stopping the repair and immediately resuming it instantly restores the token accumulation mode until the next skill check appears or until the perk reaches its maximum capacity.
Explanation
The unique perk "Potential Energy" on the survivor Vittorio Toscano occasionally malfunctions. This issue occurs when a skill check appears while repairing a generator. Upon completing a skill check—specifically when hitting a Great Skill Check, but sometimes even a Good one—the perk stops gathering tokens prematurely. It immediately reverts to the standard generator repair speed, even though the button to deactivate the perk remains visible, as if it were still actively gathering tokens. If I let go of the generator and immediately start repairing it again, the perk resumes gathering tokens until the next skill check appears. However, according to its intended mechanics, this perk should continue gathering tokens even during skill checks, until the survivor stops repairing or manually deactivates it by discharging the tokens into an incomplete generator (after which the next repair action allows the perk to be activated again for token collection). Since skill checks force the perk to interrupt token accumulation and resume normal repair progress, it is currently impossible to utilize this perk to its full potential.
