Steps to Reproduce
- Enter a match as survivor using the perk "Potential Energy"
- Repair a generator and immediately stop repairing as soon as a skill check audio cue plays. Make sure that the audio cue plays and the generator does not explode after stopping the repair action
- Return to the generator and begin collecting Potential Energy tokens until a skill check appears, then succeed that skill check. If Potential Energy tokens are maxed out, deposit them into a generator and restart from this step.
- After succeeding a skill check while using Potential Energy, the generator should now be gaining progress while token collection has stopped.
Explanation
The survivor perk "Potential Energy" encounters an issue when succeeding skill checks that causes the perk to halt token gain and instead progress the connected generator. This occurs when a survivor receives an audio cue for a skill check, but leaves the generator before the skill check appears without the game registering the skill check as missed and blowing up the generator, and then returns to another generator to collect more Potential Energy tokens. The bug occurs both after narrowly missing a skill check on a regular generator, as well as when narrowly missing a skill check while collecting Potential Energy tokens, and remains the entirety of the match after the bug occurs. The bug appears to be consistently occurring when fulfilling this criteria.
