Explanation
I sent several units to the backup box and they disappeared, I thought it was just a visual bug, I waited for the update done a few minutes ago and went to look again, they didn't appear, so to test I decided to send other units, they remained, but the ones I sent previously didn't come back.

Check if you stored them in the storage (Not the backup box). Storage is at the bottom of game mainmenu. Backup Box is in the Elemon Interface.
