Steps to Reproduce
- Shoot any automatic gun holding hands steady on Rift S on PC.
- When not firing, the gun is steady as expected.
- When firing, the gun jumps about from side to side, causing bullets to go in all directions, randomly.
- Nothing like the predictable recoil on Quest 2.
- It does not occur when holding gun with just one hand. you get normal recoil with one hand
Explanation
Recoil completely broken on PCVR oculus Rift S platform, gun flails about wildldy. Issue seems to coccur when holding gun with both hands. One of the hands, front or back, jumps, violently to right or left, as you can see in vdeio from 20 second mark. Often occurs for just one or two frames before snapping back. Doesnt happen when holding weapon with one hand, normal recoil occurs with just one hand. Issue only happens when holding weapon with both hands. Completely ruins aim and makes guns useless. It is nto a tracking issue as you can see, when holding the gun and not firing, there is no issue, gun is steady, as would be expected. Does not occur on quest 2, only occurs with rift s. havent tested other headsets.
