Explanation

Became trapped in crane placement mode after attempting to undo.

  1. Moved two assembers (a) using the Move Tool adjacent a Basic Core (b) machine.
    a. two assembers spaced 2 squares apart each with a belt of length 2.
    b. Basic core machine had 2 cranes which were over the belts from the assembers.

  2. Deleted the cranes from the Basic Core machine (and delete crans from a second Basic Core Machine immediately to the right of the first machine) using the Remove tool.

  3. Deleted and relayed the belts of the two assemblers with the exit of each belt facing.

  4. Place cranes from the first assembler over the belts from each assemblers.

  5. Using ctrl+z to undo placement (potentially pressed rapidly) with intention to go back before the original move (as per part 1).

  6. Undo stopped and Crane Placement Tool (CPT) initiated (as per text on cursor). No highlighted machine. Cannot place Cranes for any Basic Core machines. Cannot exit from CPT.

Tried the following to exit CPT:

  • Esc Tool
  • Right Mouse Buttton
  • Pressing E (Move Tool), X (Remove Tool), Z (Clear Items)
  • Going in and out of Pause Menu, General Progress etc menus, Mini Map, Pinned Modules
