Status: Open

Actual Result:
Steve’s screams sound too high pitched. It also sounds this way when Steve gets electrocuted by The Doctor.
Expected Result:
Lowering the pitch of the Hook screams make them sound completely normal, as they do when the survivor is Mori’d in lobby. (It depends on the specific killer)
Severity:
Minor
Reproducibility:
Always
Platform:
Playstation 5
Additional Notes & Comments:
This audio bug started in patch 9.4.0 and is still happening in 9.5.0. It’s happening on all platforms. I wanted to report this simply because his Hook screams are bugged and I wanted to make sure the team was aware of it in case they didn’t know about it yet. (This is heavily inspired by a similar Beta Hub post, and once I tested this out myself, I found out that it was bugged.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Play as Steve Harrington and enter a match/trial.
  2. Get hit, downed, and hooked by the killer.
  3. Listen to the screams, they are too high pitched.

Explanation

When you Mori Steve Harrington with a specific killer either in the lobby or in a match, (For example, it was The Cenobite for me) his hook scream audio sounds completely normally pitched. It plays the bugged high pitched version after the first scream audio has played, and goes on to the next (If the specific killer has you screaming multiple times) Also, once in a trial and hooked, the hook screams are significantly higher pitched and bugged.
