Explanation

So I've recently been playing dead by daylight on 200-300 ping for the past two weeks. Ive tried to see if it was my pc, steam, or my internet causing the issue, which it wasn't. I tried updating everything, restarting, etc and still was playing on extremely high ping. I noticed that when I que it usually takes some time for me to que into a game. When it tries to find teammates or even a killer it usually takes a few minutes for them to be found and for me to que. So I'm not sure if it's because I'm being put in the wrong servers or something else.
