Explanation

Wesker's bound slam causes the survivor to lose control of their camera.

Since Weskers release, there is an intermittent bug where if you're a survivor playing on controller, sometimes when Wesker slams you against something, for the next couple of seconds after you're free to run again, your camera starts swaying uncontrollably.

It will sway around uncontrollably. It feels like you're fighting a ghost yanking your camera stick in multiple directions. The sensitivity seems to increase too.

This makes it very difficult to run in a straight line.

You can tell it's going to happen as when you're pinned against a wall, your camera will shake left and right.

This issue has been in the game for years and I believe it's underreported. I've had many instance of people complaining about the bug but nobody reporting it.

I experienced it both when I played on Xbox Series X, and now on Steam, using multiple controllers.

I am aware of this affecting Playstation users also.

My controller sensitivity is 75% and I'm not aware of holding a stick a certain direction, or pressing any particular buttons when it happens.

The camera can stop swaying on its own, or if you stop momentarily, or if Wesker downs you (unfortunately this is the expected result as you can't make any distance).

I had previously reported this bug about 3 years ago and have had no real updates.
