Status: Duplicate
Added by: Anonymous on July 30, '26
Reported for:
Actual Result:
Perpetual freefall
Expected Result:
Not climbing the rock, nor getting pinned between assets
Severity:
Major
Reproducibility:
Frequently
Platform:
Steam
Additional Notes & Comments:
I was playing a normal game, looped around this tile once while chasing someone, and got stuck for over a minute in freefall. I used a combination of my power and swinging at random to get free. I couldn't figure out how to do it again, nor did I realize at the time what freed me. This is a very easy bug to reproduce, especially while playing the game as normal.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Play as the Executioner
  2. Go to Yamaoka Estate - Family Residence
  3. Go to Killer Shack
  4. Find the tileset immediately next to shack that includes debris, a generator, a rock, and a patch of bamboo
  5. Use the power button and create trails with Rites of Judgement
  6. Loop the tilset clockwise and come around to the rock
  7. Use the s**** of the rock to climb until you're on top of it, while still using Rites of Judgement
  8. Fall off the rock while moving into the bamboo
  9. You should enter a state of perpetual freefall between the rock and the bamboo

Explanation

I got stuck in freefall as The Executioner, while on top of a rock. The tile was debris, a generator, a rock and bamboo on one side of killer shack. I was using my Rites of Judgement power, and took the loop too tightly, and ended up climbing the rock, and falling off into the bamboo. I was then stuck in freefall between the rock and the bamboo for over a minute until I could wiggle myself free by accident. I'm able to consistently use the shape of the rock to climb on top of it, wherein you could get pinned between it and other map geometry.
