Nurse's second blink causes camera position mismatch and rubberbanding

Status: Duplicate

Reported for:
Actual Result:
Severe rubberbanding occurs, causing the Nurse’s camera to remain at the location where the blink was originally charged instead of where she actually blinked to for several frames. The camera then abruptly snaps and properly transports along with the Nurse.
Expected Result:
After releasing the Nurse’s second blink, the camera should immediately and smoothly transport to the Nurse’s final blink location, with no rubberbanding, snapping, or positional desync. The camera should remain consistently aligned with the Nurse’s actual in-game position at all times.
Severity:
Major
Reproducibility:
Frequently
Platform:
Epic

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Play Dead by Daylight as the Nurse
  2. On any map, use the Nurse’s first blink (charge duration does not appear to matter)
  3. Charge the second blink to the maximum possible distance, just before fatigue would trigger
  4. Release the second blink a frame or a few frames before fatigue occurs.

Explanation

The Nurse’s second blink frequently fails to properly update the killer’s camera position to match where she actually ends up. As a result, players experience noticeable rubberbanding on the client side—you appear to teleport in place for a few frames before abruptly snapping to your true location. This can lead to missed hits and, at the very least, significant disorientation.
