Steps to Reproduce

1. I just selected an upgrade in the screen
2. It freezes and no action that I can do will help.

Explanation

Any action involving a menu in the upgrade screen for character, causes the game to freeze for at least 15 seconds. I am playing on a PC, running linnox and steam OS and using a controller.
