I'm hoping this is a bug and not a shadow nerf. I'm not sure anybody esle who uses this perk and it's actually super viable even with the downside when the perk icon works. Thank you for ur time

Steps to Reproduce
- Run Object of Obsession
- Wait for it to activate from the timer
- Note that the perk does not light up
Explanation
Object of Obsession does not currently light up (the perk icon) as it has in the past when it is active. Previously the perk icon lights up any time your aura is being revealed to the killer.
As of now there is no way to know if you are seeing the killer's aura from a friendly perk vs your perk/killer perk. I assume this is a bug because I did not find it in the patch notes

Bumping this because this is my favorite perk and this is a massive unintentional nerf to an already non-meta perk!
i am also experiencing this bug. really nerfs it
I am also having this issue. Really nerfs it, because with the icon, you can tell if the killer is undetectable and can see your aura.
just gonna mention this again because this is really hurting my ability to play survivor because this is a foundational perk for me
Still bugged as of 9.4.0 PTB luckily We See You helps you realize your aura is indeed being read by the killer (as you can see I like to run Inner Focus and Alert with it so I'm getting a lot of aura for the killer just don't know if the killer is seeing me too).
